A 6 week creative journey exploring our inner relationship/dialogue to creativity along side experimenting/playing with a variety of different materials including; acrylics,oils,charcoal and clay etc
In the first session we delve deep to fully understand and question our own personal creative ebb and flow. Identifying any blocks and beliefs that inhibit our ability to even put pencil to paper. I will share tools that I have created and developed within my own creative art practice inspired by toltec wisdom and shamanic healing.
The following 5 sessions after we have a deeper understanding and sense of where our individual creative energy lies will be spent exploring our own interests and passions. You will be introduced to a few ideas and concepts around mark making and creative energy flow all of which can ease you into creating art from relaxed,centered, non self- judgemental place. The opportunity of learning new techniques and ways of approaching creativity regardless of the materials used is offered and you cannot get it wrong. Your own individual input and ways of seeing is deeply encouraged. Connecting in a small group setting with others will be fun, uplifting and inspiring as we share the 6 week journey together.
I will meet you where you are however the opportunity to be creatively challenged is always there...
There will be an optional 'homework' element to further develop creative techniques and you will be given an artists starter pack which includes the following;
